Our mission is to advance the understanding of how focused ultrasound can precisely modulate brain activity and to harness this knowledge for the development of novel, non-invasive therapies for neurological disease. We aim to bridge basic neuroscience and translational research, exploring the cellular, circuit, and systems-level mechanisms by which ultrasound influences the brain. While our current focus is on epilepsy, we are committed to expanding our work to address a broad spectrum of conditions, including brain tumors, neuropsychiatric disorders, learning and memory deficits, and obesity. By integrating cutting-edge technology with rigorous experimentation, we strive to pioneer therapeutic strategies that are safe, effective, and accessible. Through collaboration and innovation, our lab is dedicated to transforming scientific discovery into tangible benefits for patients.
